Bogdan Oldakowski, the CEO of Actia Forum, presented the role of seaports in EU transport policy during the debate held at European Forum For New Ideas.

The subject of the debate were the European transport corridors as a chance to link Baltic Sea region with the rest of the continent. The debate was organized by Polish branch office of ONZ Global Combact initiative. Polish deputy minister Janusz Piechocinski, the former prime minister and present member of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, Polish environment minister Maciej Grabowski, ambassadors of Baltic Sea region countries in Poland were present.­

The debate was interconnected with publication of the two reports: Baltic for all and Wisla inland waterway shipping. The reports were prepared by Polish ONZ Global Combact BO. Maciej Matczak, head of consulting and Bogdan Oldakowski of Actia Forum are the authors of articles featured on te reports.

Fifth edition of  the European Forum For New Ideas took place in Sopot, Poland on September 30 - October 2, 2015 with world class economic and Eart Insitute Jeffrey Sachs and the President of the European Council Donald Tusk presence.
